Switching Colors

Heya.

So a few days ago i decided to mess around and make a new background, it was actually fairly simple and quick; I took some rendered Red and Black clouds, used the Gradient tool on Difference mode to create "Veins," copied the layer and sketched it to Chrome then set the chromed layer to Linear Dodge, which gives it a very fleshy, slimy kind of look to it.

But while i was messing around with it i thought of something... i want to switch the background colors, i want the Black to be Red and Red to be Black...... it would look GREAT if i could do that, but I just can't seem to figure it out for the life of me! >.<

If anyone knows how, or has a suggestion, could you please respond? Thanks for the time ^.^

You can't redo with those colors and duplicate the effect?

Well, if you've already flattened your layers, then you'll definitely have to start over. But you know the process for getting to this point, so that shouldn't be too much of a problem. One thing you can add, along the way, is the Render > Difference Clouds filter, which does what you want - switches the colors. But, it makes the image look different each time you run it, so you'd have to make new blended layers, anyway, to get your slimy look.

It's somewhat possible if you can adjust the image before you apply the plastic filter. This is what I got with your image:

What I did was desaturate the original - invert the image - adjust levels to bring the black back in - create a new layer of red on top and make it multiply - flatten layers - apply plastic filter.

It doesn't have the same impact as your original, but would if the original plastic filter could be removed.
