Newbie graphics tablet question

Hello all!
I am starting to take a serious interest in working with Photoshop, and I would like to know of a good, cheap graphics tablet? I have read some reviews on other sites, and they seem to be very mixed on just about everything, so I am a bit confused. I trust the opinions of a design community like this more than some random people on Amazon.
Anything between £50 - £100 would be great, I can't really stretch much over that at this stage.

Sorry, I am unfamiliar with your currency. My Wacom is small and was around $80.00US. The results I have obtained have been acceptable. Gripes, I am left-handed and it is difficult to get workspace things arranged that allow for comfort. I am one of those oddball individuals that uses mouse with right hand and pen with left hand. If possible, go bigger, it is easier to work with. Also, sometimes you can pick up a used tablet rather inexpensively. Another important factor is that not everyone is able to adjust to using pen.

I paid $100.00 for a Wacom here in Sweden. And now I can´t do without it any moore . To do digital painting with a mouse is like torture. The problem was to find nibs for the pen I had to pay $50.00 for a packet of five. They will probably last for som years now I hope. But I´m mostly using the pen now instead of the mouse.

What about a Wacom Volito? You all seem to recommend a Wacom tablet, and these appear to be quite cheap.
Active area 127.6 x 92.8 mm
512 levels of pen pressure
