Having an issue..

Ok, so usually this happens when im in the middle of doing something. While a dialog box is open. For instance, just not too long ago I was editing a color and when i clicked ok, the Ps help site popped up, i closed it and clicked ok again and the same thing happened, and then I did it again, clicked ok and like 3 of the sites popped up and im like WTF! i didnt save what I did so I was like NO! I saved it but not what I just like made.. if you know what i mean.. and so i just said f*ck it and did the control alt delete and just ended it.. so im wondering what the hell is going on.. anyone can help me?

Dave Cross says that a lot of problems with Photoshop suddenly starting to act weird can be fixed simply by resetting Preferences. You can do this by holding Ctrl-Alt-Shift (Mac = Cmd-Opt-Shift) when you click to start Photoshop. A box should pop up warning you about the changes. Choose Yes and it'll load fresh - new Preferences, everything returned to default settings, etc..
This might work for you.

I did that and we'll see if it happens again. It dosent happen everytime I work with something only occasionally.. so hopefully it wont happen again

Yeah it happens when you're using the layer styles, the best thing to do is to close the original help page that comes up and click cancel on the layer effects to get back to your artwork, then open the layer effects palette again and start over.... bugs.... who needs em?

I guess if nothing works you could always try a complete reinstall and registry clean thats a last ditch option though
