Question How do I do this?

I have two different pictures... one of me, the other of someone else... I wanted to know how do I put them together?

I tried laying them, and placing them over each other like that... but, kinda didn't like the outcome... so, just want to experiment and try other things...

I'm VERY new to the program so yeah... this is only my 2nd time playing with it...

I was wondering if it's possible to place both pictures directly over each other, and kinda make them fade into each other?... or would that just not turn out.... I want to be able to view both pictures...

I've matched the colour and size of both pictures... so yeah, just any ideas on what I can do is greatly appreciated... thanks!

You mean something like this? That one will show you how you have them fade from one to the next. The first thing that actually comes to mind for me would be to put each image on it's own layer and use your eraser tool to erase the background from around the person in the top picture. That's the basic idea behind someone adding themselves into a picture with someone famous.

Yes... that is what I want to do... but, the pictures I have are the same size.... so, I just wanted to maybe overlay apart of both into each other.... so, that one you showed me won't work cause I dont have one to use as a background.. I tried doing it... but, didn't work cause I want them side by side... not one on top the other...

Even if they are the same size, do what MrProtoMan said and put both pictures in the same image on different layers. Use the brush tool and se it to erase with a low opacity and brush the top image to desired look. Play around with the opacity and pressure to get the desire effect.
