Psd in windows.

Hi everyone!
I have a "small" problem, maybe someone knows. I changed from photoshop 7 to 8.0. And now I can´t view psd files as thumbnails in windows anymoore. I have to open everyone in photoshop to see what it is. Very annoying!
Is this a common problem or only my pc?
(psd gott`n hold on me.)
ken.

I have the exact same problem. Maybe its because Adobe now want to force you to use their new Adobe Bridge freebie?

Corporate-types are SO weird that way...
Or maybe it's just because the information contained in a CS PSD is just not in a form XP understands. Or something...

Yes it seems like Adobe wants us to use adobe bridge!
But I find that one rather heavy. I found an interesting discussion on the subject on this page: http://www.notestips.com/80256B3A007F2692/1/TAIO-68UEVH
There is a missing dll-file in cs. For some it works just to replace it.
But not for me. I installed v.7 again and then reinstalled it. And finally now I can see all psd-files again! Also a way to spend a friday-evening.
