Seemless tile?

I hope it is ok to ask for help on in my FIRST POST

I need a LOG background, please.
I have several images that are just flat looking wood. I need it to look loke logs from a cabin. It would really help if it can be seemlessly TILED.

I really appreciate the help & hope I posted in the right section.

Despite an exhaustive search, I cannot find a log texture for you that's free, i'm afraid. Google does reveal some decent wooden plank textures though - http://images.google.com/images?clie...-8&sa=N&tab=wi

Why not use your wood grain image, give it a bevel/emboss the top and bottom with a bit of a vertical dark-light-dark graident to accent it better? Then just run through the Seemless Textures tutorial.

BTW, I noticed this looking for the tutorial. Hey Mog, the Tutorials and Resources tabs at the top 404 from the forums. May have to hardcode http://biorust.com/ at the begining of the links so they don't use the forums sub-domain on the links. That or put a redirector page in the sub-domain to go to the root domain name.

WHOOPS! I amended the templates a little last night and must have missed that. All corrected now though...
