Bubbling Liquid

First Post!!! Hello to all....and to all Hello!

Saw the fire animation...looks hot!

I need something like that with a bubbling liquid in a test tube...it's for a game I'm making. You make potions to create spells.

I would need 3 animations that blend well together.

1/ Animation of small rising bubbles, and some movement on top of the water surface. The Low powered spell.

2/ Greater movement, larger bubbles, clustered together. Popping effect on top of water surface.

3/ Boiling hot liquid, fast rising bubbles. Lots of action on top of the water surface. Splashes, and water droplets popping out of the water.

Would anyone know the best way to create a realistic looking effect like this?

Yeah, I used Imageready. That's the only one I know to use. But, combined with Photoshop, that's more than enough, eh?

do you guys know how to make image maps, because an image map on one of those potions would be mad, just imagine it you keep away from the potion n it stays chilled then when u get closer wid mouse it starts bubbling and over flowing :P would be really cool

That wouldn't be too difficult to do using Imageready's mouseover systems. The problem would be getting an equal mix of fluidity and filesize. A different animation for all the different bubbly states would take up a helluva large space. Perhaps this is one area in which Flash can save the day?

well you could use photoshop to get everything together then just import onto flash would be simple enough.
