.pat files...?

Hi, all.

I just downloaded a file in the photoshop patterns area, and it seems to be in some wierd file type that I've never heard of before(.pat). Can anyone please tell me how to open it or what program I need to open it in?

P.S. I know that this might be a thread that's been made before so please don't just critisize me, send a link to the thread.

You should just be able to double click on the icon (right click > Open, single click file > Enter, etc) and it'll load them. After that, click on the little > arrow next to the pattern selector for your tool and select the Preset Manager. There you can add or delete patters, brushes, gradients, etc.
