Lightbulb Need help wit layouts....

OK, ive made my graphic, now i need to slice it into a layout. i have NO CLUE how to do this! so i have a few questions in general that maybe some one can help me wit. If i missed anything that may be useful, or if any one has any tips or shortcuts, PLZ REPLY!!! Thanks SOOOO much!

1. how do i slice the graphic into a layout?

2. Do i need to use HTML or CSS in order to make the layout work on the net?

3. Can i use dreamweaver? if so, how?

4. I heard after sliceing a graphic, u have to put it back together, like a puzzle. is this tru??

5. After I get the layout on the web, how do i type text on to the site?

Guessing that you have Photoshop, then this tutorial will benefit you greatly:

To answer your questions:
1. Tutorial answers that one.
2. ImageReady will output a BASIC html page that makes your design look like it is supposed to. This html is rather iffy so I'd reccomend putting all the pictures back together (they will be renamed like "template01.gif" so it's not as hard as it sounds). Dreamweaver will allow much more customization this way.
3. You can do what I said in Answer 2, or you can take the output html file into dreamweaver and keep the iffy html intact.
4. Negative.
5. Hopefully the tutorial will help you on this as it depends on your layout.

I wanted to say thanks for the help wit the layouts, i didnt know this site had a tutorial for makeing layouts, let alone, this tutorial is 3 pages long! so i believe it should cover everything.
