Dodge, Burn and Smudge
Ive been working on Photoshop for 4 months now.....and Im still yet to get a proper answer to this question....What is Dodge, Burn and Smudge do?

Dodge makes it lighter.

Burn makes it darker.

Hold down the mouse and drag around the smudge tool and it will... smudge!

in digital painting...smudge is one of ur best friends...dodge and burn are your enemys...hehe but yah burn is darker dodge is lighter smudge smudges hee

Oh I dunno - all three tools are good in moderation, but if you try and create a digital-image purely using dodge/burn you're gonna end up with something that looks PANTS! :P

they have there uses in it, its good for detail work...but lie you said it doesnt look good when u use it for the most part
