Drawing curve????

Um,i dont know if u have any tut about this,but drawing them by using pen is really hard???T_T
and i cant move them after drawing!booo....
did i get wrong?pls fix it!

Hi Parasnake

the pen tool isn't too hard to use once you get use to it. All it needs is a bit of practice.

1) First select the pen tool (make sure its on these settings) look here

2) This is the easy bit, draw a straight line here

3) Select the direct select tool this .

4) Click on the path you just drew (direct select still selected)

5) Right click the centre of the path and select add anchor point which sould look like this.

6) Drag down and just have a general play, like this.

Great little tutorial that Onbrid! I'm currently embroiled in describing bezier pen curves to Illustrator users. Such a hassle!

mmmmm bezier pen curves, i quess it could be quite interesting explaining them to the full. Have fun!!!

When i right click there`s no "add anchor point" appear??what happened??i`m using CS version!is there any different?
I try to use Freeform pen tool,it work but i have to repair the shape to much

make sure you have this selected (the direct select tool) and also make sure you right click ON the path you just created. if you have anymore problems just send me a PM

sry for this,but i`m sure i did all the step,and that drirect tool is selected too
I right clicked on the center of that path(that big dlack dot),there wasn`t any "add anchor point"
pls help me....
