I am absolutely convinced that that tutorial has been stolen from a tutorial on artofgregmartin.com (
http://gallery.artofgregmartin.com/t..._a_planet.html). All that the author has done is edit the tutorial a bit, used a slightly different process in one place. But still, its virtually the same tutorial which he has just copied!
Compare the texture provided on this site:
