After much deliberation, digestion, and cogitation, I have decided that the winner is.... *drumroll* BUB!
I make no secret that choosing the winner of the competition was rather difficult, especially considering the quality of many of the entries. In the end it was really between Lexiblue's flower background and Bub's contribution. Lexi's background was indeed beautiful, but when added to the forum I personally found it quite distracting, and focally-draining. Bub's contribution, on the other hand, was simple, yet effective, and seemed to fit well. This made it the winner.
I'm really proud of all of you for the contributions you have made, and I consider this community collaboration to have been a real success! Who knows... maybe in a few months we can repeat this competition and see who wins the next time. Until then, many thanks to you all, and I hope you like the new BG!
