Sounds easy enough! Just start with a nice shiny brushed metal, and then add the dents/scatches effect over the top. You can find an EXCELLENT tutorial on the subject right here. If you want to go more complex, you could also try integrating rust patches, etc. Its not hard, but the layering can take some time. Especially if you are a die-hard perfectionist like me....
