It doesn't surprise me that many of you find the Biorust forum background a bit bland. Backgrounds have never been my forte, and this design is no exception. That said, i'm willing to give you all a chance to do better!
Here's the deal - we need a new design for the background. To this end i'm setting up a small competition to see who can design the best replacement. The submitted material can be of any dimensions, and can make use of CSS placement tags. The only limitation is the filesize - i'd preferably like to keep the background images/textures below 50kb to minimize load-up time for modemers. This by no means excludes better designs a few kbs bigger, but will hopefully discourage MONSTER-SIZE downloads.
To compete, please create your background/texture and post it to the
User Gallery > Community Projects section. I will choose the winner on the 1st June and integrate their design soon after. Many thanks to those who compete... and good luck!
