Lightbulb version of photoshop?

what version areyou using?

anyway, it's pretty simple: also you can use the image ready help/how to create web images/ button rollover.

first you create all of the states in photoshop; turn off the rollover states. Then select the down state layer and choose layer/new layer based slice. save

hit the edit in image ready button (bottom of tool palette) which brings the document into image ready

select the web content palette, there should be one layer, your down state

choose from the bottom of that palette, create rollover state

you will see it pop up below the original image.

now, select the new state, then toggle the eye on from your layers palette, so that you turn on those other states that you create (which are turned off.)

you can test it right there in the tools palette by hitting preview in browser.

work?

ok then. the only problem with it all is that photoshop writes it all into a table with a javascript in the header of the code.

you'll have to figure out which parts you need and include it all in your destination file.

good luck,
