they are pretty good, i would say they were excellent if you generated those landscapes in 3dsmax etc. This is because things like vue d'esprit, terragon and poser are all way of making decent 3d very quickly by using premade template etc.

I like them, they both rock. The only thing that you really havnt included that makes your landscapes look a little flat is a "depth of field, blur" this would make it look much nicer.

If you also included some thing like a helicopter on the second image it would give it a great sense of scale, as well.
