Absolutely! If your choices are someone who wants to ruin you one way, versus someone who wants to ruin you a slightly different way, voting is merely a formality –
especially considering that (a) candidates rarely do what they promise to do (ex. FDR ran for peace, then got us involved in WWII, when we had enough problems of our own WITHOUT a war) and (b) the method one side uses to get what they want will be turned around and used by the other side to get what they want.
That leads me to say that America only has one big party, not two - "Democrat" and "Republican" merely denote HOW they want the government to expand, not IF (which is what they should be concerned about). All they want to do is take my guns and my freedom in order to line their own pockets.
I recall someone saying earlier how much they hated big business trying to steal from us; I would actually prefer if big biz were the predominant group wanting my money, because they can't legally shoot me, steal my stuff, or imprison me if I refuse! Besides, the profit system forces big biz to give me something I want in exchange for my money; government has the power to tax, so its decisions are mostly arbitrary and detrimental.
