Yes - a good deal of data seems to be lost in the Copy/Paste process, which is not so much of a problem in images with bold, flat areas of colour. If you try it on a photo with subtle gradients, however, the results can be less than acceptable. Attached are 3 images to demonstrate this. The first (Image1.jpg) is the original photo, along with its corresponding histogram. The second (Image2.jpg) shows the result of copying out of Word and pasting into Photoshop - note the histogram shows a massive loss of data, and the gradients in the image are crude, to say the least. The third image (Image3.jpg) shows the result of Man1c M0g's
Print Screen & Paste technique - much more acceptable in this case: the gradients have been preserved and the histograms are virtually identical.
Moods: I think by "bin the Mac and then the client", pink3unny is suggesting that you get rid of both your Mac and your client - hardly the most constructive suggestion (especially since this problem has nothing to do with the fact that you're using a Mac).
