marquitorres- thanks for your input, but as i stated earlier in this post, i do not wish to degrade the quality of my image by reducing the pixel count.

tamlin- tried the links you posted but it seems to no avail. the suggestions work but its a pain n the butt.

i tried looking at the pic in firefox today and the window automatically resized and showed scrollbars on side and bottom.

why cant my IE do that?
also- its not just mine, the one at work does the same thing. in IE.
