Again, check with the printer, but generally speaking, make sure all your colors are set to CMYK and all DPI is set to 300 for any print use. As for format, most printers take a PDF, some take TIFF files, JPGs (less rocommended) native PSD files, most will work with a variety of options to find youself someone you trust to print everything and see what their requirements are.
