Hi there, I have the CS3 Extended version, there are definitely a few changes from the CS2 Version, like having done away with Imageready for example, you can now do all that in the CS3. I don't know the differences between CS3 basic and extended. I got their whole "Master Collection" for my work
Otherwise all the tools appear to be very similar and the whole feel of the program is about the same. One thing I do notice is that it starts a lot quicker, but I believe this is due to it not loading all the fonts on the system (I have over 2000 fonts). And I have not yet had a crash / bug
