Generally, i think it's a good idea, but i do have concerns...

As a photographer myself, i am not interested in granting free reign over my work to someone else... I of course choose not to contribute to 'stock photography' sites but my concerns are that if BioRUST implements such a program, that:

1. People will mistakenly assume that all imagery on BioRUST is Public Domain
2. The submission of work will become far less 'artistic' oriented.. meaning the purpose for sharing work would be less about constructive feedback.
3. What legality issues surround such an endeavor... ie: who is liable if someone submits a copyrighted photo that is not their own, or uses a model who has not given a release?

I understand the 'using credits to buy photos' part but what motivation is there to photographers to give away the rights to their work?

Just some concerns....

If anything, i would suggest that the submissions NOT include people.
