well there are a lot of 3d communities out there, and most of which will have 3ds max sections dedicated to just 3ds max.

but if you have specific questions about tools in 3ds max, F1 is your best friend, the help files and tutorials that come with max are great! probably one of the best I've seen come with any 3d program.
