Using LAB as a colour correction

Thanks to Tamlin's pic and links ref LAB colour in PS I seem to have been hooked and looked for ages for links on colour correction with LAB. I have found a few more links that those who did not see the discussion might be interested in. As you said Tamlin there is nothing better than Dan Marquilis's book. Maybe one day I will see it in a charity book shop at 50p. I also thought that possibly the concept could get more debated here.

Have had a few goes with different results, but here is a link with those discussions >>>

Photoshop Lab Color: Ch. 1 - Digital Grin Photography Forum

Photoshop LAB color: Chapter 14: "Once for Color, Once for Contrast" - Digital Grin Photography Forum

Look forward to any other links and discussions. it certainly has got me thinking and working on the concepts. Thanks Tamlin
