I have a scanned image that have placed into Illustrator to covert to Vector so I have cleaner lines. The image is a scan of Homer Simpson from a magazine.

My problem that I am having is once I Live Trace & and Live Paint the object I don't how to delete lines or edit them once I am finishing Live Painting.
I need the lines present so I can fill color to a particular area, but once the color is present I would like to get rid of the black line as it is not apart of the composition, just a place- holder so that I can fill a particular area with a color.

How do I remove the individual lines once I am finished with them?
