No, there's no
need to log out if you're the only one using the computer.
VampyyR: what operating system do you have? If you're on Windows XP (Home or Pro) you could set up separate logins for yourself and your girlfriend, which would each retain your individual settings.
PS: Just had another idea: you could set your browser to remove the BioRUST cookie when you close it - that way, you would
have to sign in each time you started a new browser session here.
