Iron Munky Skull

Ok, Yuneek has seen me, I know that for sure, I am *duh duh da da!* Munky...

anyways, I was wondering if there was a very good 3D modeling tool for Linux or Windows. (Linux preferably). I was also wonderingg after making 3D image (Made using Povray Modelor, Linux) How do you get the color. It is wireframe, do I put a "skin" almost on it? Or can I just go straight to coloring, if these can be answered, please help, Thank you.

There's no massive commercial 3d-modelling linux products that i'm aware of m8. Blender is perhaps the biggest one, but i'll let you decide - just pop over at this link and have a look:

http://linux.tucows.com/modeling_default.html

I'll leave the other questions to other people... coz my skillz in 3D are rather basic...

no ways m0g, you can get a linux version of realsoft v5 and it kicks some major ass.

Blender is your cheapest option since its free.

To get a wire frame you have to usually select it in the rendering options, you dont do any thing to the model since it is a style of render.

Thank you all so much. Now though, do any of the following mentioned program(s) make it where I can make my wireframe solid, also, does it allow me to add color to my work?

okay then,

usually you just switch from wire frame mode to opengl mode. When its in opengl it usually fills the wiremesh with the designated polygons. Changing colour is also pretty easy. I would recommend reading the help file to learn the basics.
