best app to model a room?

I've got a question for you all.... What is the best application to model a rd-room... My brother is buying a new house and I want to surprise him with a 3d-model of his house... (And it's easier to decorate )

Greetz,

Malb

3D Studio Max is usually used for such, but Maya can do almost the same, I think 3DSM is just a little better for it.

3D Home Architect is a pretty decent program. Doesn't produce the best results and has limited furniture choices but it an easy program to use and learn.

i would probably think light wave.

Light wave has some crazy render engine, which should help you produce a photo realistic room. I would recommend using any major 3d app, since they can all do pretty much the same job.

malman, as 5-0 said, they are all relativly the same. Go with whatever you're comfy with.

yeah, you did an abstract in cinema 4d so why not model a room in cinema 4d. I would suggest that you only get comfortable with one program and cinema 4d is very good.
