Highly suspicious. If you follow the links, you (eventually) get to a page where you are asked to install something called ArchiBAR, which is allegedly some kind of BHO (Browser Helper Object) for IE and Firefox. Admittedly, not all BHOs are bad, but the majority of them constitute some kind of Adware/Spyware. (It actually says on this page "There are no Adware or Spyware encapsulated in the ArchiBAR" - but then they would say that, wouldn't they?)
I don't know about anyone else, but I won't install any kind of add-on or plugin to Firefox unless it's listed on the Mozilla extensions site, so I won't be following this link any further. If some other reliable BioRUST member (i.e. someone with more than a couple of posts to their credit) can confirm that this is a legitimate resource then please do so. If not, this thread will be deleted.

Hey Tamlin
I was able to download the .3DS files individually without installing the BHO...
I think the BHO allows you to access the images more easily... but like you, I am extremely wary and would likely never install it.
When you follow the links and finally see the larger picture of the model you are intersted in, the "obvious" link is the BHO object... but if you click the image itself, you can download a .RAR file with just the model in .3DS and .GSM formats and a .txt file.
Thanks for the post Julia80! (though somehow i doubt we'll ever see you again).
Are you another 1 post wonder? lol
Mike.

OK - thanks for investigating it Mike. Looks like it's OK after all, but my motto is always "better safe than sorry".

It's no necessary to install ArchiBAR to download models, but with this bar you will get access to daily updated models that are not visible on the site. Virus cleanness is guaranteed.

Great looking objects, big thx!
Julia80: I think the suspicion is caused by the fact that it
was your first post here and there are a lot of more or less
honest people who sign up to forums like this just to spread
junk/spam etc
