my cleanest modelling

so far i' really been practicing on how to make very clean models. All of my previous models seemed to be pretty messy. I have now learnt't new techniques to help me get cleaner meshes.

I cant tell you what car this model is going to be (its top secret work for a possible client) you will see the car model at the end when it is fully complete and the transaction with the cleint is complete. I have a small problem since my GCSE's are coming up, so i have to revise, so i can only spend two hours on this car model a night.

It has taken five hours to get this far, which has been spread over two days

Tell me if you can spot any basic errors in the mesh so far. Should Ialso write a tutorial for creating a car for realsoft?

Looks good so far, even though its very hard to tell what sort of car it's gonna be. Keep us posted with regular updates m8!

Oh, and I reckon a few realsoft tutorials would be a great idea. I dunno of any other modelling sites offering tuts for that particular application...

heheh cant tell what car its gonna be so far since it is pretty private work. I can give you a hint that its not a street style car, it is a one seat race car, kinda like a F1

I doubt you will know what the final car is, well i spoke to the guy i am making this for and he said it would be a good idea if i get some c&c for it,

I worked my ass off on it today. I did three more hours and you can now start to see what type of car it is going to be.

?????????????????

okay then, i have done an extra 4 hours today. This thing is starting to look pretty sweet. I still have to weld some areas of the body mesh.

I need to do the following:

interior
make fibreglass dome for the body
cut a front air cooling hole

so im just about half way now, taken about 13 hours, another 13 to go, lol.

car

well i have just finishedthe body work, It isn't entirly symetrical so im going to split the body work in half and mirror it over the other side of the car. this should make it look perfect. I then have to make the interior and give it some nice paint job and have a semi realistic render.

car update

thank evdawq, that made it worth while doing all this work. thanks for the nice comment. It isn't finished yet. The guy who i am making this for says its also pretty good for a 70% complete job. I can't wait to see what this thing looks like when it is 100% complete.

Some very very nice work 5-0! The preview mode really doesn't do the modelling justice - I can't wait to see a final render with a nice shiny coat of paint on it....
