Animated Textures

does anyone know if there is something like animated textures?
With animated textures i mean like that you take a cube in an 3d app and put a texture over it of a set of bricks......that's normal, but now you do everything the same way only you put an image over the cube wich changes color every 10 secs......is that possible??

Depending on your 3D app, you can use a quicktime or AVI movie as a texture map. In some cases you need to use a sequence of images. Check your 3D application's manual for how to do it.
