i use 3ds max, i love it, its perfect for 3d work of most kinds but its a little hard to get to learn, ive never used bryce and my c4 crashed when i installed it.

I think the comment about him getting it for someone was pointed at me, but not thanks, I now have the program. I just can't learn it! Too busy, and don't know where to start anyway.

I think the in-built tutorials for most 2D/3D programs are good for getting you started m8. That why I don't tend to produce many tutorials myself for absolute beginners - it'd just be recreating the wheel...

I know this.. but.. usually the sites with great tutorials don't make it to the top and I don't have time to wade through all of those o's at the bottom of the search page.

I know it's not quite a 3D modeller, but have any of you used Atmosphere?

I dont like the sound of atmosphere so much. It seems stupid. I'll stick with my copy of realsoft thanks. Seemed really odd for adobe to attempt to make a 3d program when they mainly do 2d stuff
