Advice please.

I would like some advice on how to have text travel across a spline or, in a circle.

maybe you could make a texture so that the text is on hte circle? Or you must if you use maya you need a good code in mel, but i have no idea what code.

well im using cinema 4d and i cant make the texture because i want it indented on an object already with its own render.

Example, this is the model i have made and i want the lotr text indented on it like on the film.

There is easy way to make it. Use Structure/Edit Spline/Project.

Well if the ring is a polygon geometry it would be best if you lay out the UV so that you can map a color textre with the text you like on it. GL
