Question 3dS MAX and Lightwave

Hey everyone, i was wondering if there was a way to use the lightwave modler to create 3ds max objects. i much prefer the mindray renderer in 3ds and its more convineient to arange a scene in 3ds. But if its no doable thats cool too. i better with photoshop anyway

Lightwave Modeler can export at least to .obj and .3ds formats, which are usually good enough. Depends what you do with Modeler. But I'm quite sure that there are several formats which Max can read. Funny though, that you need both... Lightwave has a decent renderer too.

i dont disagree with that, its just im not quite advanced enough to understand the lightwave process, its far more complicated, menus and stuff.

and there are ofcourse enough tuturials if you have some money to spend, you could go to simply3d.com and they have a site for lightwave tut, also you should try digitaltutors.com. but that's all a bit expensive
