That seems to get me part way there, but I still can't figure out how to get that faded edge effect when I paste it onto another image. I set the feather number to 50 px and when I paste it onto a new transparent canvas, I can see the transparent canvas around the edges, but when I place it onto another background, the original image appears with no fading. So how do I get the faded effect to be visible on another image? I am trying to get rid of the edges on my original picture. There's an option for sharpening edges, but none for blurring edges.
