you can import images, and even import illustrator files straight up into your flash file as well...
there is an import to stage and import to library option as well...
"to stage" will import it right onto your canvas in flash... flash calls the canvas "stage"
import to library will import the file into the scene, but will keep it in the library where you can then just drag onto the stage whenever you need.
if you don't have the library displayed yuo can go to "window>library" or you can just use the hotkey "ctrl+L"
anyways hope this helps you out...
oh and if you are going to be uploading this file, make sure you do the standard web optimization or it can really slow down the load speeds, etc...anywho...
