Tony, for a "free hosting site with minimal ads" I think yours missed the mark. Popped up 2 ads, blocked at least 1 and have a large banner ad at the top.
I'm using an inexpensive hosting service ($10/month) and spliting it with a friend. There are plenty of that sort out there with plenty of storage space, more e-mail accounts than you could use and discounted domain names (the package included 3 free domains). The company is 1and1.com, but as I said, there are plenty of other similar deals out there. Well worth my share of the hosting fee.
