I think you've maybe confused this with some other application. There's no mention in the Spybot TOS about it installing its own adware. There
are lots of untrustworthy bogus anti-spyware applications with very similar names doing the rounds that
do do that sort of thing - here's a list of some of them:

but you'll see that Spybot isn't one of them.
