No need to apologize, friend. Your advice was great. I'm just frustrated with the general issue I'm having with this whole thing. It might just be that I in fact do need more RAM.
If it helps any, my PC is a Compaq Presario SR1303WM. Perhaps someone knows if this brand and/or model is known to have problems with Adobe Photoshop CS. Could just be that my PC is a hunk of crap as I've always thought it to be. Definitely not the best PC in the world, but cheap.
