Scratch Disc Issues
By now some of you may already be aware of the ongoing issues I have had with the scratch discs with the other posts I've had in the recent past. So, in an attempt to solve this issue I purchased a 160 GB hard drive (Seagate) just for use with Adobe Photoshop CS and for my various other crap such as pictures, music, and the like. This leaves me with a nice amount of 134 GB of free space to work with.
Well, here's the deal. I set this new drive as my primary scratch disc by going into EDIT>PREFERENCES>PLUG-INS & SCRATCH DISCS. After I set that, I exit the program, then open it back up.
Well, it's giving me the same friggin issue, stating it can't create a new document, or after it does manage to create a new document it says it can't use this or that tool because the scratch discs are full.
This is when I get that urge to go insane and destroy everything in sight, but I'm not the Hulk. I figured having more space, such as a separate physical drive (as suggested by someone in one of my previous posts), would help the situation, but I'm dead effing wrong.
Are there any other options I can do to get this friggin thing to operate correctly or am I to be left with this immense anger that will most likely kill my PC?
