Well, i'm gonna be busy for the next 10 days sorting out my diploma coursework before the inevitable deadline (which is 6th Nov), but after that I was thinking of beginning on the Biorust v3 project. Here's what I have decided to do so far:
- Create a brand-new interface (obviously). Unlike the previous versions, though, the new Biorust will be vivid and more 'trend whore'. I was actually thinking that the main design could follow the theme of a spaceship (much like the mothership in Homeworld 2), with a background consisting of an abstract starscape rendered in Bryce. I'll still resist going down the Flash MX route, though, as i'm not experienced in that type of interface... yet...

- The shoutbox on the right will be joined by a box that lists the most recent forums postings. This should drive more of the regular 2.5k daily visitors into the forums.
- The affiliates box will vanish and be integrated into the main design. It was a nice idea in Biorust v2, but used up tons of space that will now be used by the forums box.
- I'll add a downloads section to the site, which will feature freely downloadable style files, pixel fonts, etc. Generally just stuff that people find useful, and that I can obtain permission to share.
- Adverts! LOL! Soz, i'm just teasing - I have NO plans to install ads on any of my websites.

- As soon as Vbulletin v3 reaches its production release, I intend to upgrade, and enable journals for all members. Blogging seems to be a massive craze these days, so why not jump on the bandwagon?
- In the longer term, I also intend to integrate all site commenting functions into Vbulletin, although this will undoubtedly require some nifty recoding. Something to quietly work on in the background I think...
Anyway, these are my thoughts so far. All comments and suggestions are, of course, very much welcome...
