I think this has to do with the dilation of plasmatic screening from high resolutions formally known as today" pixals" to disinguish the difference is to fit into a small but larger block per resolution.Point the pixel into unit.thats how i understand it. hopefully helpfull..Visual desplay...Example sharp end of something.Dots coming together to like printing...A positions indicating direction marked circumference.B. between any 2 adjacent positions.hence the quality of pinpointing the display....building the blocks.
