The only problem is.. 5-0... As soon as you let him free on the streets on Tikrit, all the people will be scared again and bow down before him. Not to speak of all the rebels that are still active in that area. Before he can set one foot to the ground he will be picked up by one of his men and brought somewhere 'safe'.
I think the best way to punish him(and I believe it is the way they are gonna do it) Is to give him a trial in Irak, and be charged with all the cruel things he did in his 45 years as dictator of Iraq.
They have allready set up some kind of court that convicts those who have participated in all the terror of the past 50 years.
And I'm glad they did just that... Normally all the international 'warcriminals' are brought to the Netherlands because we have an internatyional court here that is built on neutral grounds. And if they brought Saddam here, who knows what kind of people come along for the ride... Not to speak of Bin Laden and his posse, he was a 'friend' of Saddam.(He was invited to some of the parties Saddam has thrown over the years).
