I use a HyperPen 12000U by Aiptek ( www.aiptek.com ). It was inexpensive and is A4 in size. I have had it for several years and it's still working fine. The pen is a tad bulky at first but to be honest you do get used to it and now I don't even think about it....having said that this thread made me think about it! Check out the website anyway. It's not a big name like WACOM and it's a HyperPen 12000U and not an Intuos but at the end of the day when someone looks at the finished artwork they'll never know the difference. I am very happy with my one.
