Greetings,
Try the 'Round Button' in Filter Factory A. It wil only put the bevel on the outside of the torus. The only problem is that it casts a shadow on one side that can be adjusted with the Light slider.

Try using R1=202, R2=235 as a place to start. I created a filled circular selection and then cut out the middle. Then run the filter. You can get the free Filter Factory sets here >> http://stevesdesktopphotography.com/plugins.htm
