It's pretty good, could make some improvements. But that is why it's a WIP.
I would suggest possibly changing the outside of the orb. It definately needs some more blending, the edges really stick out.
The colors are ok, but a little too much contrast is used. The contrast is hig enough that it overwhelms the viewers eyes, and there isn't anything the soften the impact. I would personally experiment with some other colors and brush blending to make it more viewer friendly.
