As promised (and a little bit ahead of schedule), we have
scrowler's latest tutorial online covering the topic of
Common Text and Number Management Functions. Its set at novice level and is packed with descriptions of functions for text length formatting, HTML processing, string hashing, padding strings, text case conversion, and lots more.
Oh, and before I forget, I've found out how to create funky little JS/DHTML tooltips to adorn the tutorials! I'll see if I can get a beta system working this weekend to assess compatability before possibly making it a side-wide feature in several weeks. I also intend to give the tutorials listing system a bit of an overhaul to make it more compact and list PHP/ASP tutorials in a more efficient manner. Hopefully these changes can be introduced without much trouble...
