development community/articles source, anyone interested?

hi

i've been thinking for a long time that i would like to open a website purely devoted to programming / web development articles/tutorials, and now i think i might actually do it.

the website would be a professional style, with hardly any one on one communication with the user, i.e. no shoutboxes inch:

since i have written probably around 10 tutorials for BioRUST i am becoming quite interested in starting my own, and i come here in search of somebody who would like to help "run" it.

what you would have to do:
• moderate forums
• help users with article problems
• [preferably] write articles/tutorials
• [possibly] help with the coding, as i will be incorporating many advanced features into the engine, imo websites that offer programming and web development tutorials etc should not have available exploits or badly written code, so i will make everything twice as secure as i usually would. help for this would be appreciated.
• i have a few assignments coming up over the next month or so, so if i don't get time to design the layout, then help for this would be appreciated

permissions you would have:
• editing content
• adding content
• forum moderation
• possible administration panel access (depending on how well i know you)

criteria for ideal applicant:
• literate with programming, i.e. understand the concepts of it: functions, classes, syntax etc.
• literate with the use of computers: windows and/or linux workstations and servers, ftp etc.
• trustworthy (of course)
not somebody who only uses their PC once a week. you must be active enough for this position.
• dedicated: don't apply then pull out later

i would appreciate:
• people to help with a forum skin
• tutorial writers (much appreciation for these): any programming or web development language, including XHTML, CSS, XML, XSL etc.
• forum support users
• ideas for the engine

if this website gets big enough, i will pay for the domain, so you don't lose any money.

i am not hiring anybody, i am simply looking for volunteers who are interested in the above. if you are, either reply here, PM me or email me at robbie[at]averill[dot]co[dot]nz

thanks in advance
